Zum dritten Vortrag der JOUR FIXE Reihe 11/12 kam am 24. Januar 2012 Jörg Leeser/BeL Bernhardt und Leeser, Köln – mit dem Vortragstitel „„Cart Blanc“ an die Kunstakademie Stuttgart.
BeL Sozietät für Architektur, mit Sitz in Köln, wurde im Jahr 2000 durch Anne-Julchen Bernhardt (*1971) and Jörg Leeser (*1967) gegründet. Das Büro hat bisher 90 Projekte bearbeitet, vierzehn wurden realisiert.
Mit freundlicher Unterstützung von Steelcase Werndl AG., Knauf Gips KG und der Architektenkammer Baden-Württemberg. Die Vorträge der Reihe JOUR FIXE werden als Fortbildung im Rahmen der berufspraktischen Tätigkeit als ‘Architekt/in im Praktikum’ (AIP) anerkannt.

The Weissenhof-Symposium 2011 addresses the relevant question, if and how ethic aspects can be reflected and negotiated by aesthetic concepts. Is it “more ethics, less aesthetic”, as the main topic of the Architecture biennale in Venice 2002 titled, or isn’t it “more aesthetics” that can force a re-thinking on ethic responsibility and supports wider dimensions in architecture, art and design? Or is such a demand not contemporary anymore? International renowned lecturers / institutions from different disciplines are invited to present, reflect and discuss those questions in an ethic and political dimension of design. In three sections, projects and positions from art, architecture and design will be presented.
